The Jacksonville Athletic Club had a great showing at the Eastern High School Challenge at the University of North Carolina this past weekend.  We only took a few athletes up, but all did great!  Abby Thorpe had a huge (over 1/2 second!) PR in the 55m hurdles, and then came back to PR again in the triple jump!  Madison Murray jumped 5'2" to get third in the high jump, and also triple jumped for the first time indoors.  Megan Murray competed very well in both horizontal jumps, and all of our athletes enjoyed the experience.  Results from the meet can be found here.

This meet concludes the "regular indoor season" (yes, we went to two meets) and we are extremely proud to have had the following athletes qualify for New Balance Indoor Nationals:
- Caroline Johnston (pentathlon and long jump)
-Madison Murray (high jump)
-Abby Thorpe (high jump)
-Bryson Kirksey (high jump)
